A few new shots added to start the new year!

Hey all!  I’ve added some pictures to the galleries from last year.  They include a few from my amazing trip to Japan in April and one from a slightly more ill-fated trip to Belgium & Netherlands in September.  Hope everyone likes them!  I’ve also included some shots I’m really proud of from my weekend volunteer gig, at Howling Woods Farm in New Jersey.  Anyone who knows me will tell you that wolves have always been one of my favorite things in the world and to have these guys as easy photography subjects is a dream come true.

This coming year, I plan to take a trip to the southwestern US at some point and do the national parks circuit.  I’ve never really been to that area of the country and know that the photo opportunities will be fantastic.  And since I’m feeling the need to up my game a little bit, that should provide a great opportunity.

In the spirit of that, I’ve upgraded my lenses over this holiday break and now have natives that work with my Sony camera.  No more adapter (well…most of the time)!  Look for more updates over the next 5-6 months!  Thanks for supporting my work!

And the pics just keep on coming!

Okay, so I’ve added a new batch of photos to most of my galleries. I switched one or two out as well that I didn’t think were quite good enough to stay. These pictures are from numerous locations both close to home and far away, specifically Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Spain (which I travelled to this past October with a friend of mine). Hopefully everyone likes them but leave me feedback either way! I’d love to hear suggestions for potential improvement!

Coming up this year in 2023, I’m taking a few trips that should net some really good shots to take. First, in April, is another jaunt in California and then Japan. The latter has been on my bucket list forever and when a friend of mine invited me to go for a week, I couldn’t pass that up. Later, further down the line in September, I’m going to the Netherlands for a concert and hopefully getting some amazing shots of the countryside in the process. I’m still not sure where I’m going for that trip, as it’s still being put together, but I’m sure it will be amazing.

Finally, I replaced my old Canon Rebel T5i with a Sony a7r III and will be using that from now on. I still need to update my lenses for the new camera, which will be a slow process for monetary reasons, but it’s a fantastic upgrade so far! Eventually, I also hope to update my now older cameraphone as well so I can have some better quality shots on that front as well.

Onto 2023!

New trips and pictures in the works!

Alright, I’ve basically finished the site at this point (aside from a few minor aesthetic tweaks) and have moved on to shooting more photos to add to it! I have a few stored from this past half-year that I need to edit but some of them are looking really good. On top of that, I have a few trips planned or potentially planned this year to go get more, including one to Puerto Rico with a friend of mine. Hopefully that will happen and Covid-19 won’t ruin everything like it tends to. I took some major inspiration from the film “The Velvet Queen”, which I saw recently and which helped reaffirm my love for wildlife and landscape photography. It single handedly made me want to add Tibet to my list of places to hopefully visit one day with my camera.

I definitely also want to add some more stuff to specific galleries on here, like the woefully underdeveloped ‘Portraits’ section and ‘Architecture’, which I love but could still use a few more entries. I’ve also been continuing on in my fiction/novel writing (which I’ve been doing since I was a teenager) and am hoping to get further in my two ongoing works soon. I feel they’re both fantastic and can’t wait to get them to a place where I can share them with the world, especially since both are years in the making.
